Summary: Let me begin to say our host was awesome, communication was superb. The property was nice a secluded, the outside sitting area was great if you can get pass the vicious mosquitos (lol) everything was as listed. Plenty of dishware and towels. The laundry worked well. It was close to all grocery stores and restaurants and close to my job! Now for some annoyances the Dorm refrigerator was super small and for a family this would be hard to digest seeing that you either eat out or buy food that you can cook immediately. better bring a cooler but you'd be buying ice everyday to keep food cold. It rains alot in Houston with that being said the path way stayed flooded when it rained so wear your rain boots. It would be nice to have some gravel near the front door so you are not stepping in water and mud! The second bedroom ac didn't work and it got hot in there but the ac in the living room cooled nicely. Now for the clencher ROACHES there were many scurrying across the floor during the day and night. They were HUGE so wear you slippers at night so not to get a crunch under foot. But me and my family managed to deal as our apartment wasn't ready. I also know that this place was probably garage but it was still put together well and the neighborhood was nice and quiet and friendly. So if you can deal with the Prehistoric roaches. Give it a shot you will be pleasantly surprised.
