Positive: Lynne was a lovely host and the welcome package for us and the dogs was such a nice surprise. The enclosed garden meant the dogs could run around safely. The lodge was fully equipped with everything you need, such as a walk in shower, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer, outdoor furniture, cushions, parasol, tea towels, dishwasher tablets, cleaning products, towels, toilet rolls, everything you need for a self catering break. Nothing was too much trouble for Lynne and we felt very welcome.

Negative: Unfortunately we arrived during a heatwave and the lodge was very hot and we couldn't cool down. The bathroom was a strange shape with a sloping roof and very humid, with no place to put your toiletries. Handrails in the bathroom by the shower and the toilet would be a beneficial improvement to help accessibility.

Summary: A little gem in Kent, ideal for a couple. Very dog friendly.
