Vivian’s Cabin is ready! Updated, bright, fun & fresh! The cabin is on 50’ of lake frontage on Manistee Lake and is situated about 70 yards from the road (which can be busy). dog-friendly and family-friendly with a bonfire ring / chairs with lakeview! if you are looking for an affordable, simple, cute spot to stay up north - vivian’s cabin is perfect for you and your family!

neighborhood:
the cottage is right next door to our other 2 bedroom cabin, forrest's cabin, which sleeps 6 You can rent both for groups of 8 to 11! There is a big yard in front and in back. The lake access is across the road (County Road 612). The water is currently quite high so there is no “beach” but there is a shared dock.
there is a convenience store 05 miles away and also a pizza parlor up the east side of the lake. The cabin is 12 minutes from downtown Kalkaska and 35 minutes from Traverse City.

vivian’s cabin is the cabin to the left when pulling up driveway Blue door entrance way, labeled “Vivian’s cabin.” There is a keyless entry, with a code provided.

transit:
we are located 12 minutes from kalkaska 35 minutes from Traverse City. It is recommended that guests have their own vehicle.
please note the following:
(1) there is a road that separates the cabin property from the lake You will need to cross the road in order to use dock/beach.
(2) dock area and driveway are both shared with the cabin next door, forrest's cabin, which is also available for rent
(3) you will want to bring a lot of bug spray
(4) water toys not provided due to liability Bring or rent your own (kayak, boat, paddleboard, etc.)
(5) trash pick up is every monday morning the trash bin will need to be placed at the end of the driveway by sunday
night
(6) we provide one bundle of firewood
(7) we ask that you remove your shoes while inside
(8) no smoking or vaping
(9) no parties
(10) up to 2 dogs are permitted More than 3 dogs and/or any other kind of pet are both strictly prohibited. If bringing 1 or 2 dogs, please make certain that the pet fee is paid.
