House Rules
Here are a few helpful tips and guidelines:
The front door is an automatic smart lock, please ensure the door is shut properly.
Please take your shoes off upon entering the house and leave wet items (skis, ski boots) in the foyer.
No smoking and/or illegal substances/drugs inside or outside (includes cigarettes, vapes, cigars etc.)
No parties. Extra visitors, guests, pets, photo shoots and movies aren’t permitted unless approved by us in advance. Additional fees may apply.
Please respect quiet hours from 10pm to 9am.
The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities.
Outdoors: No skiing, sleighing, snowboarding, hunting, biking, hiking or fireworks on the property. No All-terrain vehicles (includes dirt bikes, 4-wheelers, snowmobiles)

The homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest.
There are outdoor cameras on the property for your safety. There are no cameras inside.
Keep the property and all furnishings in good order. Please do not move any furniture. No food/drinks in the bedrooms or on the couch. Only use appliances for their intended uses.
We share our mountain with wild animals. Please don’t leave food or trash outdoors and please do not feed or touch the wildlife.
Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included with the cabin, we suggest you bring your own beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the cabin. A fee will be charged for any missing linens.
Water & Septic: The cabin is on a well and septic system. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if excessive amounts of toilet paper or improper material is flushed down the toilets or put down the sink. Do not flush anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime, and no food or grease put down the drain in the kitchen sink. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed or food down the drain and clog the septic system, you could be charged damages of $100 or more. No Sprinklers, slip and slides or kiddy pools. No washing cars.
Wood burning fireplace: Firewood is provided. Please operate properly. NEVER USE LIGHTER FLUID!! Make sure the flu is open before starting the fire and make sure it is closed when you check-out. Once the fire is going, please close the fireplace door. We ask that you do not remove the ashes. The cleaning staff will take care of it.
Fire Pit: Make sure the fire is completely out before leaving it. Fire should be attended at all times. Do not remove used wood. No open burning is permitted by the town.
Garbage: All garbage and recycling must be placed in plastic garbage bags and put in the garbage can outside. All bags must be tied.
Grill: Should be cleaned after every use (before bedtime) It is a charcoal grill and guests should bring their own charcoal.
Pets are but please do not allow on the furniture, and they must be cleaned up after inside and outside and remain on a leash at all times outside.
Please report any damages or issues immediately.
Other things to Note:
Cell service upstate is limited. WIFI calling is best at the cabin.

CHECKOUT LIST

We hope you have had a great time and will come back to visit us again soon. Before you leave there’s just a few things to do.

A cleaning service with trash removal is included in your rental rate; however, we would appreciate you leaving the house in a tidy state prior to departure. Therefore, prior to your departure, please complete the following checklist.

Interior:
□ Return all books and games to original locations
□ Make sure all kitchen appliances are switched off (i.e. stove)
□ Turn off all lights in all rooms
□ Remove sheets from used beds and put on the floor in that room Leave comforters and pillows on the bed. Please don’t put them on the floor. Please do not remove the duvet covers or mattress protectors. Our cleaners will take care of them.
□ Place used towels on the bathroom floor.
□ Remove food from fridge and freezer. It should be empty when you leave.
□ Wash all dishes. If using the dishwasher make sure you run it before you leave.
□ Ensure you have packed all of your belongings phone/ipad/laptop/chargers etc.
□ Place garbage and recycling in the garbage can outside when leaving. All garbage and recycling must be in a plastic garbage bag and bags must be tied. DO NOT place any loose garbage in the garbage can. No garbage is to be left beside the can for bears to get.
□ Set all thermostats to 50°F in the winter months
□ Close and lock all windows and doors
Exterior:
□ Ensure the BBQ grill is cleaned
□ Fire pit is completely out
Damage/Breakages:
(We understand that things happen, but please let us know about it so we can replace/repair broken or damaged items before our next guests arrive)
Faulty Equipment or Appliances:
(Please advise us of any appliance or piece of equipment that is faulty).
