Miss Joโs is one of three options at Sandy Cut Cabins. Itโs a cozy one bedroom log cabin with a large private back deck. Miss Joโs Cabin is just 2 miles from historic downtown Saluda and conveniently located beside part of the Sand Cut Pass railroad. Unfortunately, the train no longer travels the Saluda Grade but guests enjoy hiking along the old tracks for a day of exploring the quaint little town of Saluda. If youโre the adventurous type, Saluda offers Green River Adventures right downtown as well as The Gorge zip line. Just one mile past the cabin youโll find Pearson Falls waterfall. Itโs a moderate hike and enjoyable for children and โchildren at heartโ. There are many day trip options in the area including the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, DuPont State Forest which has several waterfalls, and the Tryon International Equestrian Center. Please keep in mind that being surrounded by nature includes pesky insects and bugs and occasionally they get inside the cabin.
