Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: We met Ismael, the host, at the pre-arranged time and location. He was very kind and friendly, and personally guided us to the apartment, located at the end of a small street in an almost completely uninhabited village. We arrived while it was still light outside, which was helpful, as the narrow streets are not illuminated at night. The apartment itself is very authentic; unlike most of the surrounding buildings, it has been nicely renovated. The interior was clean and well-organized. From the terrace we had a beautiful view of the palmary and the mountains. It is an extremely quiet place, as no one lives in the immediate area. Ismael shared a lot of useful information and was incredibly helpful—within a short time he even arranged for a local resident to give us a guided tour of the village, including the kasbah and many interesting sights. We enjoyed a peaceful night, and in the morning we watched the sunrise from the terrace. A truly unique and memorable experience.
