generally speaking, we just ask that you take care of, and respect our property as if it is your own (assuming you take care of your own stuff lol) In all seriousness though, please help us keep our property nice so it can be a welcome haven for you and future guests.
★ transparency/integrity/communication ★
things happen sometimes, and that's okay! but please do communicate with us on anything that is broken or goes missing during your stay It helps us ensure that the property is ready for the next family and there are fewer surprises for everyone. We think everything is better when expectations are clear, and everyone practices open communication.
★ please respect check-in & check-out times★
please be mindful and respectful of the check-in & check-out times They are critical to ensure the proper amount of time to prep and clean the property. You can request an adjustment to either times BEFORE your stay, but we aren't always able to accommodate.
★ laundry★
at the end of your stay, please gather up all of your used towels (including bath and lake towels) put them on a pile in the bathrooms or laundry room Do not make any of the used beds, we'll handle that. this just helps us more efficiently get the property ready to roll for the next guests!
★ dishes ★
please clean and dry all pots and pans You can let them sit on the drying mat on the countertop. For all other dishes, please make sure to load the dishwasher and run it upon your departure. You can use the dishwasher pods found under the sink.
★ trash ★
please gather up all trash and place them in the bins at the end of the driveway The bins are in a "bear box" due to our local black bear who likes to eat up garbage. So please make sure that all of the trash makes it into those bins, and that the bear box is closed back up. We have two large 95 gallon trash bins, but if you do not have enough room, please reach out to us prior to your departure so we can help coordinate what to do. Under no circumstance should trash or trash bags be left outdoors. the animals get to them fast!
★ shuffleboard/pool table/card table ★
please do your best to avoid drinks on the shuffleboard and pool table and be mindful while using the card table these pieces of equipment are very expensive and we want to keep them nice for a long time!
★ no unregistered guests allowed★
please refrain from inviting guests to our property that aren't registered If they are coming, simply add them as a registered guest to avoid any confusion. Additional guest charges will apply to any guests not registered for the stay.
★ noise curfew ★
we really love music Especially when that music is playing through some high quality SONOS speakers that are found throughout the entire home (awesome!). BUT, please be mindful of the neighbors. The outdoor speakers are capable of getting very loud, so try to find the right balance of awesome and respectful. Especially during the quiet times of 10 PM - 7 AM.
★ no illegal substances allowed ★
to avoid run-ins with authorities, make sure your guests don't think about bringing anything illegal to our property!
★ no smoking inside ★
please refrain from smoking inside the home! any smoking evidence will result in a fee for odor removal and furniture cleaning
★ no parties/events ★
we kindly ask you to treat our home as your own to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits Under no circumstances are large parties or gatherings allowed at our property. You and your register guests may enjoy the property.
★ excess cleaning fees/damages ★
if any excess damage is found to the property after your stay, you will be billed accordingly
★ liability waiver ★
you understand that the use of the bunk beds, hot tub, kayaks, paddleboards, and swimming in the lake is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved with these activities.
