Summary: Our purpose floor staying was to sleep but this was make impossible until well after 2am due to high noise levels both in outdoor areas and nearby rooms. Walls need sound insulation and windows double glazing. Door to corridor should not have a gap between it and the door frame. We do a lot of travel and have not had to use a double bed for years - it was not only too small but also had an uncomfortable mattress. We lodged a complaint and were told that the receptionist was unable to help. We asked to be contacted about it but to date we’ve heard from no one.
