located 25 km from lisbon in the hamlet of bucelas, the villa is situated in the only white doc of portugal and famously quoted by shakespeare The estate is located in a protected and remote area of exceptional biodiversity and amazing views, along the former main Roman road through Portugal. Produced at the estate are exceptional white, red and sparkling wines of \"terroir\"; awarded 90 to 92 points by Parker and James Suckling. The wines have a registered trademark \"MURTA, the wine of Shakespeare\". The estate boasts 27 hectares (67 acres) of landscaped vineyards on a hillside facing southeast, limestone cliffs, pine plantations, numerous fruit, oak and ornamental trees, a small river running along the property’s border, old ruins in the middle of the hills, a grand asphalt road entry, numerous paved yards, stone works, and peaceful garden areas.
