jenkins beach is a private recreational use lakefront property located on green lake in dedham, maine The Jenkins family has owned the beach since 1940, and over the years thousands have visited to enjoy the pristine wonder of Green Lake. Last year, Julie bought the business from her father and we have engaged in extensive renovations of the property.
in addition to completely revitalizing and modernizing the camps, we have also hired an environmental consultant to assist in our landscaping and cleanup plan that centers native flora, supports local fauna, and helps ensure the ecological health of the lake for the future
the beach includes over 200’ of sandy lakefront access We have 34 canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards and multiple docks for guests to use. We also contract with a local boat rental agency if guests wish to rent a pontoon boat for the day or week.
the entire property has high-speed wifi coverage, the camps all have multiple smarttvs, there is plenty of free parking, and we can accommodate ev charging as well
the swimming at jenkins beach is unparalleled (where guests can enjoy our two water trampolines and docks), the deep waters of green lake offer some of the best fishing in new england, and the fall foliage in the area is absolutely spectacular We are also located just 27 miles from the natural wonders of Acadia National Park.
