Our Barn was fully renovated in 2020/21 offering 2x 60m2 Gites each on two levels. L’HIRONDELLE and LA HUPPE. We have created modern accommodation but kept the character of the barn with its original oak beams and stone. Located on the Normandy/Loire border in a rural location offering couples a quiet escape to the countryside. Self catered, but your choice of our breakfast option should you wish to have.

the ground floor of each gîte is open plan with comfortable sofa arm chairs in front of the wood burner and 43" tv (french and uk tv) dining table (seats 4) and a fully fitted kitchen with all the sauce pans, cutlery etc you may need. Also supplied are a dish washer, fridge/mini freezer, gas hob and an electric cooker. Kitchen area also has a Dolce Gusto coffee machine, kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board. Microwave available on request. On arrival you will receive our welcome box of a bottle of wine, water, crisps, chocolates, coffee capsules and fruit.
upstairs the bedroom has under floor heating with a bathroom en-suite with an italian shower The bedroom has a vaulted ceiling with the original oak beams. A Super King size bed which can be split should guests prefer twin beds. (summer or winter tog duvets) For your added luxury you will have large bath sheets, hand towels and bath robes for your use. All our linen is 100% cotton.
both gîtes are fully modernised but keeping the original character and features of the 150 year old barn Free WiFi is available and USB charge points are positioned in the kitchen and on each side of the bed.
outside, guests have a terrace area to have breakfast or to enjoy the sunshine with a drink The garden area is also available with a sun deck with garden furniture under an oak tree and a barbecue and a fire pit should guests wish to use. In winter a basket of logs for the wood burner is supplied for your first 2 nights. Further basket of logs are available at minimal cost.
