Lakeside Cottage is a brand new four double bedroom modern cottage set within the quiet old mining village of Penmarth. Just a short walk from the beautiful Stithians Lake and the award winning old pub called the Golden Lion. We are located centrally to the north and south coast in a very rural and quiet setting setting …. pure escapism.
the space
lakeside cottage has 4 double bedrooms, there are 3 double beds and a room set up as a twin room, please refer to pictures We accept booking of up to 8 guests to include children.
with regards to “pets” we only allow dogs in the property
guest access
we have safe parking for 3 cars only, no more than 3 is permitted There isn't a bus route through Penmarth but plenty of local Taxis.
other things to note
there is a car charge point located on the garage which can be used to charge your car Please note if guests use any three pin plugs to charge there car then this will incur an extra charge of £25 a night which will be payable upon request from us.
the garage isn't available for guest to use as it is storage for linen etc for lakeside cottage There is a large link area corridor with plenty of space for storage.
we may from time to time briefly access the garage but this will by no means disturb the guests as there is separate access to this space
from october through to march we provide i packet of fire lighters, 1 bag of kindling and 1 bag of logs to start a fire upon arrival please note only dry wood can be
used on the fire
all dogs must be kept within the grounds of lakeside cottage and must not be allowed to stray on to the neighbouring property, meadow view cottage We allow three dogs per booking.
there is strictly no smoking in the house under any circumstances Smoking is allowed outside but any cigarette butts must be disposed of safely..
