Positive: We were there for a family reunion so we didn't spend much time at the accommodation. The cabin had everything we needed, the hostess was friendly and helpful, Sadie the dog is adorable. It was really relaxing waking up next to the lake, watching the deer come down to drink. We never had a chance to check out the rescue animals unfortunately but, it looks like Marcie is doing a wonderful job taking care of a lot of animals nobody else wanted.
Negative: Sadie came to our door the first morning to say good morning but didn't come back the next. Other than that, everything was great.
Summary: Well located, peaceful setting, comfortable rustic cabin.
