High above the Allegheny River, in the emerging resort village of Foxburg, Pennsylvania, step back in time to a comfortably appointed 200-year-old log cabin. The backyard begins at the edge of a 300' bluff overlooking a seasonal view of the river. The front yard ends at the fairways of the first golf course built in the United States: the Foxburg Country Club.
the cabin is 700 square feet, sleeps three-four, with maximum occupancy set at four There is a queen bed in the one bedroom and a full-size futon in the living room. The kitchen is large for the space, as the home was once the servants’ quarters for the mini-mansion next door.

There is a sink, shower and toilet, which are new and fully functional. Indoor plumbing was not a thing in the 1820s. In the ensuing centuries, successive owners have done their best to accommodate the times. Your understanding is appreciated.
