Kerrisdale is one of Vancouver's most exclusive family neighbourhoods and only minutes away from everything that a visitor would like to experience in this beautiful city by the sea and mountains. Our home is a short walk to unique shopping, restaurants, cafe's, markets, pharmacies, banks, and a wide variety of retail services. A 10 minute drive or a 20 minute bus ride takes you to the Downtown, Robson Street, Yaletown, Gastown, Chinatown and an extra 5 minutes to Stanley Park. We are less than a 10 minute drive to Vancouver's best beaches in Kitsilano, Locarno and Spanish Banks. We are right on the city's bicycle route and access to mountain bike trails on the UBC Endowment Lands where hiking and horseback riding trails abound. We're also only 15 minutes from the Vancouver International Airport, 35 minutes to the US/Canada border and 2.0 hours south to Seattle and 2.0 hours north to Whistler .
our home is on a double lot, 2,450sf-4,000sf (depending on the size of your group) private and fenced We have a 700sf cedar deck and our backyard also has a basketball court , fruit trees and massive old growth cedar trees . The house is fully furnished on one or two levels and entry is at the front from 37th. Avenue. The main floor has our entry foyer, living room, family room with a 46' flat screen and surround sound system, French doors to outside deck.1st Guest bedroom is the Master bedroom w/Queen bed, private Ensuite w/sunken soaker tub, glass shower, two sink vanity and a make-up vanity, 43' flat screen and a 2nd Guest bedroom w/Queen size Murphy bed and an office workstation. Also on the main is a full bathroom , 3rd Guest bedroom w/Two-Double beds , private Ensuite and windows on two sided, plus 4th Guest bedroom with a Single to King pull out day bed. The 1st and 2nd Guest bedrooms have workstations for those needing an 'at home office' if our home is needed for kids to do homework. Our lower floor has a 5th (Q-bed) and 6th bedroom (Q-bed and Single-bed) + a full bathroom, recroom with flat screen TV, pool table, dart board and a fully equipped home gym . We have Free High-Speed Wireless Internet service and Smart HD TV with multi-streaming apps and Apple TV units including Netflix and Amazon Prime.

review:the host: michael, gracious and always available, greeted us on arrival and walked us through the entire house, pointing out its many facilities and features, including a bulletin board stacked with more useful information (restaurants, etc) than you could possible use.
the house: very comfortably accommodated our thirteen adults and two children with lots and lots of space to spread out Televisions everywhere, wifi, and Netflix—particularly Netflix for kids and a wonderful backyard for kids and adults, complete with basketball court (which was in constant use).
the location: situated in a lovely neighborhood, a couple of miles from the airport, walking (or for the lazy, a short car) distance to a bunch of everything, ie liquor stores, restaurants, pharmacies, markets, parks, an exercise gym and only a few miles from downtown. (Warning: stay away from Bufala Pizza: it is unique and addicting.)
