when you walk in through the bi fold oak doors which fully opening onto the garden, you’ll be blown away by the height of the main room and its contemporary partial-glass roof The open-plan living area of the barn is flexible and fantastic for entertaining, with a play and games area for children, which includes a table tennis table. For cosy nights in, there's a TV snug, sumptuous sofas and wood burner, there is underfloor heating throughout.

hendicott is the place to get away from it all, but should you find yourself wanting to explore, there are plenty of devon delights on your doorstep It’s right on the edge of the legendary Dartmoor National Park, where you can walk, cycle and pony trek to your heart’s content, taking in wild and rugged views.
indulge in some pub grub at the railway inn, just over a mile away and the tom cobley tavern, about 4 miles away
for some creative culture, head to chagford – a truly original market town steeped in history The village is awash with beautiful old granite buildings, including the lovely church of St Michael, and unusual independent shops and galleries – try Rue Des Fontenelles for art, interiors and antiques. James Bowden & Sons famously sells everything and anything, as well as all you need for a day out on the moors. Food lovers will be spoiled for choice. Most places use local and organic ingredients, such as the traditional thatched Three Crowns Inn, the light and airy modern Old Forge café-restaurant and the quaint Birdcage café (for fabulous cream teas and cakes). Big-hitting Michelin-starred fare can be found at the nearby Gidleigh Park hotel. If you fancy a beach day, it’s a 40-minute drive to Torbay, where there are loads of hidden sandy coves and pretty harbour villages to explore. Twelve miles and 25 minutes' drive to the south is the pretty seaside town of Dawlish, famous for its sandy beachfront, colourful huts and black swans. The bright lights, eateries and entertainment of Exmouth or Exeter can all be reached within around 40 minutes.

please also note that the lead upto the barn in sessland lane is quite bumpy and ideally you would need a four wheel drive car to access If you have a normal family size car then just be aware that the lane, is in places in need of repair, so the approach to the Barn needs to be driven with caution.
