Positive: It's an older house with a nice cozy atmosphere. The owner is very kind and speaks english. That's a major plus for international customers! The AC blows cold air so the room was comfortable, even in the relatively hot spring weather. I stayed for a month and the price is very competitive.
Negative: We had some experiences with cockroaches of varying sizes. Cannot fault anyone for it, as they is very common Japan, but they're not the nicest of roommates. Also, the entrance can be a bit difficult to find. It's through a narrow corridor behind the building.
