Located directly on a lake but in a country setting, it is only 10 minutes from downtown Madison Wisconsin, 20 minutes from the airport, and 2 hours from Chicago's O'Hare airport. Lake Waubesa is one of the four lakes in Madison, known as the best fishing lake. Barbecue and relax on the deck while being secluded from the wind! Enjoy fabulous morning sunrises over the lake.
the log cabin is located on the lake One level ranch has 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom. One bedroom has a queen bed. The 2nd bedroom has a bunk bed with a full bed and twin bed on the top. There is a large living room with lake views. Enjoy eating at the table while looking at the lake. Everything you will need to make your stay complete is provided, from linens, towels, a washer and dryer and condiments in the pantry.
we have a kitchen that is fully equipped with cooking and service ware for up to eight guests as well as new appliances Plenty of pots and pans, dishwasher, microwave, coffeepot, and toaster to make eating in easy.

the boat launch is 2 minutes away For our guests we have canoe. We just added a rustic wood 65 foot pier for our guests use(will be in the water from June to August). Most everyone just walks right in at the lake front to swim. The lake bottom is rocky and/or sandy.
