Summary: What we loved-the community, the neighbors, the patio to watch golfers-Par 3 hole, pond with ducks, geese and wildlife. A place to gather with our family. Sadly this home showed well in the photos, but it is very outdated. We understood it to be immaculate from a cleanliness perspective but we would say it was clean, and this is not an issue with the maid. The maids do a great job, it’s the house itself. Needs an update badly. For the price we paid, we expected it to be a 9/10, but would rate it a 6-7/10. The patio furniture was dirty, and needs replacing. The bedding, towels are yellowed. Master bed has a mattress top which makes it very soft. With all this we had an unexpected experience for not only us, but the owner as well. Two skunks took up residence under the cavity of the jetted tub in the ensuite bathroom. While the owner had someone take care of the situation (only after us requesting getting this resolved TODAY vs tomorrow), we felt he was more interested in finding out who was responsible for any costs incurred to take care of removing the skunks vs taking care of his guests. After all said and done, WE hired a company to come spray a skunk neutralizer to help with the smell. We spent 4 nights in the second bedroom. (Thankfully our family had not arrived yet, so we closed off the master suite and stayed in the second bedroom). The owner did have the maid come to clean after one full week for the master bedroom and second bedroom. Disappointed overall.
