Welcome to our beautiful Garden getaway, located as the lower unit of a two unit house, with private parking and private entrance in the front of the house. Walk into your open air large kitchen, cook on the grill OR the stove. Grab your chilled bottle of wine from the wine fridge and go relax on the couch swing. Let the forest sounds lull you into a blissful vacation trance.
this property is in a private neighborhood that is close to the rainforest (about 10 min away) and the beach (about 10 min away) It is also less than an hour to drive to San Juan. *We do recommend having a car at this location for travel freedom. This property is the lower level of a two story home. The upstairs is also a vacation rental (Happy Hour Hideaway), that has a separate entrance and parking area. It is possible you will hear or meet other guests during your stay.
both bedrooms are inside with their own lock-able door Inside the bedrooms is a large King size bed, Air Conditioning and a TV. We recommend you keep the doors closed as this is a tropical island and you are at the foot of the rain forest and there are mosquitos and other insects. The house does receive pest maintenance but being this space is open air it is important to keep sleeping spaces as pest free as possible by closing the doors.
there are two bathrooms, both with a spa like shower There is use of laundry on the back patio of the house. This is the area shared with other guests, along with the Large side yard next to the house, where you can find, coconuts and parcha (passion fruit) and Avocados when in season. The living room is equipped with its own television, and comfortable furniture and a large Porch Swing perfect for napping on.
enjoy the sounds of the rain forest, like the coqui and different birds and lizards, *don't be surprised if an iguana traipse through the yard There are also many free roaming chickens and roosters as well as the neighbors own flocks. There are also some sweet neighborhood cats roaming about occasionally. The downstairs is fenced in so it is rare they come into the space.
