we are one of the few places to stay in the monteverde area that is located close to the forest and which offers an amazing, open view of the surrounding reserves, out through the valley of san luís all the way to the gulf of nicoya You will feel hugged into the cloud forest but with a sense of openness which is unique to our location. Rainbows often make an appearance! Here your body and soul will be supported, nourished and rejuvenated whilst immersed in nature and a peaceful environment.

climate
- the climate is generally cool as we are nestled in between pristine cloud forest and lush mountains The weather can fluctuate drastically in a day. Best to be prepared with layers.
water
- all tap water here is potable and good to drink
- additionally we have a water filter in the dining area for guests if they prefer
tropics
- we do live in the tropics which means there are colorful birds and creatures, mosquitos, no-see ums, biting ants, scorpions, tarantulas and poisonous snakes
- we recommend you bring your own insect repellant, (no deet based products)
- we don’t use any pesticides on the property
- every guest is personally responsible for their own safety
