Positive: The property was in a good location, within walking distance to the town centre and next to the Edeka. It was well equipped (apart from lack of a chopping board!). It was lovely to be able to sit on the terrace and look at the gorgeous garden. We were able to have a BBQ one evening(Edeka has good meat and fish counters). We have been to Bullay before and can recommend it as a good base for exploring the Mosel and Hunsruck by train, boat or car. The owner is a lovely lady and made us very welcome. She doesn't speak any English, so at times it was difficult to communicate with our basic German. However that was our problem!

Negative: The dishwasher packed up during our stay, which was a bit irritating but not a disaster. As the apartment is below the owner's house it is not entirely private. This is an observation rather than a complaint.

Summary: Very relaxing stay in a lovely location.
