This restored 19th Century cottage enjoys a wonderful location on the coast road overlooking Galway Bay and the Aran Islands and beside a beautiful sandy beach. It has a beautiful stone walled garden and ample parking.
the half door entrance leads to a hallway from which there is access to the dining room, sitting room, kitchen, 2 downstairs bedrooms and main bathroom Upstairs there are 3 further bedrooms and an additional WC.
this cottage has a large well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer, large fridge/freezer, electric cooker, etc There is a large dining room table and chairs overlooking the patio area and the Atlantic ocean. This is a wonderful location to watch the sun go down over Galway Bay. There is also a separate dining room with a large hand cut stone fireplace. This is one of two fireplaces in the cottage, the other is in the sitting room. There is a complementary fire starter pack and bag of turf provided. Additionally there is oil fired central heating throughout the cottage.
the bedrooms are very spacious with good lighting and ample storage space There are two bedroom downstairs (one single room and the other with a set of bunk beds) as is the main bathroom. The other bedrooms consist of a double room, a family room with a double and single bed and a twin room with 2 single beds. There is an additional half bathroom upstairs. Bed linen and towels are supplied. Cot and high chairs are provided free of charge on request.
