Positive: Location was lovely.

Negative: They lost our luggage for two and a half hours. We eventually had to go downstairs and find it and take it to our room. We were offered a free breakfast in compensation. We booked a junior suite. Furnishings were tired and the room needed updating. Bathroom was minuscule. We went to the restaurant for dinner. Staff had no idea about what wine they had. Wait staff would take our orders and then disappear for 30 mins and eventually return without anything. Service was so bad that we offered another free breakfast ( we were only staying one night). Our sense is they know the service is bad and this is how they manage it if people complain. When we turned up for breakfast the next morning there was a 40min wait. We had stayed at the Rosewood Georgia Vancouver which is a block away a few weeks before. The room and service there was impeccable. I would not stay at the Fairmont again.
