There are 16 golf courses within a 30-40 min drive and 3 major ski hills for those looking for ski or golfing getaways.
invermere is a town of roughly 5000 people and is situated on the north side of windermere lake 15 minutes drive This is the closest major center but the stores in Fairmont are equipped with everything one needs if going to Invermere is not what you wish to do.
this home has been well cared for and is in the perfect location for a true outdoors lover, there is no shortage of things to do and for the first 10 years living here i didn't even need a tv !!! why would one need that when golfing, hiking, skiing, fishing, boating, rafting, hunting, camping, swimming, biking, kayaking, canoeing, bird/nature watching, climbing & exploring are only a few of the activities to be enjoyed
there's also a dog run with a dog house in the back and dogs are welcome if they also can respect the home :-)
