The Main living and dining area is located upstairs while the bedroom, bathroom and laundry facilities are located downstairs. The walkthrough below is as if you’re entering through the front door and exiting through the second floor sliding glass door.

laundry facilities: the laundry facilities are located in 1 of the 2 bedroom closets There is a stackable washing machine and dryer, shoe rack, extra linens, 2 robes, iron, and vacuum. Laundry detergent and dryer balls are provided.
spiral staircase: due to the intimate size of the lookout tower, the spiral staircase is steep so please take your time when going upstairs or downstairs The upper level can also be accessed from the exterior wood stairs.

did we mention adventure? due to the steep driveway, you will need a 4x4 or awd in order to reach the lookout tower You may park at the lower driveway and hike up to the home (2 minute walk) if it looks too daunting - This may also be required in the winter months depending on the snow conditions. We promise it is all worth it once you take in the views! Especially sitting in the two-person hot tub that overlooks the valley.
the city of sandpoint is known for trains, so you'll hear the train whistle from the valley below You'll be surprised how quickly you become accustomed to the sound but if you're not used to it you can use the "white noise" player or earplugs in the bedroom to muffle the train whistles at night.
