Welcome! Our home is on a two acre lot nestled in the beautiful Nambe Valley, just outside of Santa Fe. It was built by renowned local architect Allen McNown, and his son Mark, whose family lived here for four decades. "Caracol" is spanish for "snail" which is the shape the house was built by McNown made out of adobe, lava rock, and wood from the area. It is a special house with a lot of history, and borders the Pojoaque Creek which is a tributary for the Rio Grande 10 miles away. The house has a very unique, curved feel due to the spiral theme. A one of a kind home with nearly 4,000 sqft of living space for large groups. Cell signals are very iffy outside of Santa Fe (and sometimes within), so do take a picture of the map and front gate before driving out here. There are some Ubers in town but few that come out here so having your own cars is recommended. There is plenty of parking here for as many as 8 cars if need be My assistant and I are readily available via texting through the app or our phone numbers. We are 15 minutes north of Santa Fe, in Santa Fe County and Pojoaque Pueblo, next to Nambe Pueblo. Off the scenic road to Taos one hour away. There are wonderful hiking and biking trails within minutes of our home we would love to share with our guests. We recommend having a car as there are some Ubers in town that would come up here, but cars are more practical. With plenty of parking on site for up to eight vehicles..
