Positive: Friendly staff, responsive on whatsapp, great English. It's central. You get a key for the front door. Room was fine, and well prepared. Wifi is OK. There are useful English signs around. Sometimes a cat visits, keeps away the rodents. No cockroaches.
Negative: There's not a lot of privacy, it's very basic, and you get what you pay for. All noises travel easily inside, and outside. Loud noises and yells from outside are very noticeable. Sometimes there are small ants passing through despite no food inside the room. The room is fine but not well maintained, the only way to close the door is to lock it. Facilities: a shower, toilet and a sink outside. There were no staff when I checked out. Everything is extremely basic. It is what it is. No rooftop, not a riad but they don't advertise this either, just for clarity.
Summary: Extremely basic, friendly staff, great location, not a lot of privacy
