From the moment you arrive, you are greeted by the 'private entrance', cleverly disguised as a shared stairwell to the second floor. This thoughtful design ensures immediate social immersion, along with a rich, layered aroma of mould and stale cigarette smoke that boldly announces, “You are not in a hotel.” It’s immersive. It’s daring. It’s the olfactory equivalent of performance art. Inside, the apartment continues to impress with its commitment to character. The peeling wallpaper adds movement and texture, constantly evolving before your eyes. The broken and uneven floorboards transform a simple walk to the kitchen into an interactive balance challenge, perfect for guests who enjoy Pilates without the instructor. The damp smell throughout the apartment is wonderfully consistent, tying the rooms together with a cohesive atmospheric theme. It really brings the place alive, in a biological sense.
