Charming family-owned log cabin, 9 miles past Idaho City on scenic Hwy 21 in the Boise National Forest. Creek runs in front of the house. Hiking/biking trails nearby. Idaho City is 10 minutes drive from the Cabin. Most summer nights provide for spectacular stargazing. If you are looking to disconnect and spend a peaceful weekend rejuvenating in nature, this is the place for you. Easy access from Hwy 21, no need for 4 wheel drive. We provide Satellite wifi and we have used it to search the internet, check email, and conduct Zoom calls without a problem, but it doesn't work well when trying to make phone calls using a cell phone. If you call on FB messenger, WhatsApp or other apps it works.
the house was built in 1937 and is situated on 134 acres of land with pine trees all around. Outside fire-pit for roasting the perfect smores. Plenty of parking. Fully furnished with pots, pans, and utensils. Wood burning fireplace. Running hot water. 15 minutes to The Springs - Premier Hot Springs Retreat in Idaho City, 1 hour and 40 minutes to Stanley, 45 minutes to Lowman and Kirkham hot springs. Check-in time: 4pm (we will let you know if you can check-in early depending on availability). Check out time: 12pm.
