cozy home is an old farmhouse so after a long rain or a big snow melt, you may get some standing water in the basement, but no worries, we have a dehumidifier to take care of it and that's definitely much better than the old days! if that may bother you, think about passing, otherwise some nice hot cocoa or coffee will cozy you right in!

✹ this space has been prepared for guests traveling from out of town! we love to host guests who have previously stayed in short term rentals and earned favorable reviews

if there is no reservation from the previous day, we can consider an early check in

late check out request are seldomly approved due to the cleaning team is scheduled on your check out schedule at 11am
✹ extension request: when you feel like time runs out too fast and wish to have more time in our home, we’ve got you covered We’d appreciate it if you let us know as soon as you find out the need to extend your stay. We would like to inform you that we only allow extension requests until 12:00 am on your last day in the property. Any requests that come in after midnight while the cleaner is already scheduled for that day will have an additional cleaning fee.
✹ note: we provide complementary consumables like toiletries which include soap, shampoo, conditioner, coffee, packets of creamer and sugar, and other bathroom amenities For your convenience, we offer mid-reservation supplies replenishing at minimal cost.

✹if you're bringing more than our maximum pet allowed we would require a $500 security deposit
✹ pets must be house-trained and under their owner's control at all times They should not be left unattended in the rental property at any time.
✹ pets are not allowed on furniture or bedding Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets, both indoors and outdoors. (pet cleaning fee minimum of $500 may be charged after the reservation if proven that there was neglect on this item)
✹ if a pet causes damage to the rental property, the guest is responsible for the cost of any repairs or replacements
✹ guests must provide proof of their pet's up-to-date vaccinations and flea/tick treatments before check-in
✹ if a pet becomes a nuisance to other guests or neighbors, the guest may be asked to leave the rental property without a refund
✹ guests are responsible for any injuries or damages caused by their pets to other guests or neighbors

our neighbors on either side are very nice and keep an eye on the property for us
we share the driveway with diane on the south side of the property and gary lives in the house to the north side of the property

getting around:
travel by car is the most popular choice but being only 4 blocks from downtown medina, it is a shorty lyft/uber from most venues to our home Lyfts and Ubers are always readily available. The location is very walkable to all the events being held on the square.
central medina is mostly walkable from the property, otherwise medina is mostly accessed by car, however, public transportation is available with published bus routes and there is always an uber available!
besides the plethora of coffee shops, restaurants and the medina square within 4-5 blocks of our property, medina is home or close to home for many ohio businesses medina is also popular for family events such as:
