situated on the shores of lake katchawannoka, this cozy cottage is conveniently located just a 10-minute drive from the village of lakefield for all your needs Alternatively, you can boat right into town, adding a scenic touch to your journey.
the main floor of the cottage features an open kitchen and living area, with two bedrooms to the side A sunroom and deck offer picturesque views of the lake and lot. The finished walkout basement, with a sliding door walkout, features two additional bedrooms and a spacious living area, along with a covered seating area under the deck.
the cottage is situated on a very large 14-acre lot, featuring spacious grassy areas bordered by trees along the property lines, providing for privacy! The lot is mostly flat and gently slopes towards the lake. The depth at the end of the 42-foot dock is approximately 4 feet, and at the floating raft in the pictures for reference only- the depth is approximately 5 to 6 feet. Please note that there are aquatic weeds.

katchewanooka is an ojibway word, which means “lake of many rapids” Before the Trent Severn Waterway was built the lake was narrower with faster-moving water. The lake stretches from Stoney and Clear Lake to of the Village of Lakefield.
