Welcome to Leaning Pine Cottage on beautiful Chandos Lake in the Kawarthas. We are situated 15 minutes away from the town of Apsley. Our family cottage is located in a quiet bay off the main lake and offers beautiful views of nature. loon families are regular visitors!
explore the lake on one of our 2 kayaks, child sized kayak, or stand up paddle board Swimming can be enjoyed by all and there are hours of fun to be had on the 20ft water Maui mat.
there is plenty of opportunity for fishing on chandos lake and the most common catches inclulde: large mouth bass, rock bass, and northern pike Chandos' size and shape provide a large open area that is perfect for sailing and windsurfing. The lake also boasts 3 marinas, 3 boat launches and public beach. The are hiking and atv trails close by as well as snowmobiling trails, cross-country skiing trails and snowshoeing in the winter.
the cottage has 4 bedrooms, all with queen sized beds, and 2 full bathrooms There is a fully equipped kitchen with new refrigerator and stove, coffee maker, toaster, microwave and kettle. Stays include free wifi for guests, HDMI hook up for 2 TVs and an outdoor BBQ. There is an indoor wood fireplace for those chilly evenings and an outdoor steel fire pit that can be used for your enjoyment.
