all mountain roads can be steep and dark at times They may be daunting to an inexperienced mountain driver. The Matterhorn Chalet is located in a quiet mountain subdivision on a circular one-lane road. Although it's a short road with street lights, it is tight, steep, and curvy. Please try to plan your arrival during the daytime if you are intimidated by mountain roads.

please note that we do experience snow on occasion The HOA does a great job of keeping the roads scraped but they only scrape after the snow ends. So, please be aware of the weather and know that there is the potential for snowy weather. Please plan accordingly.
