Summary: We enjoyed our stay in Montana at Ray's cabin. I was a little nervous to reserve this property without a lot of reviews to go on. The cabin was very clean and everything worked well, including the air conditioner in the living room that was needed during our warm stay (temps in the 90s). Ray was extremely responsive and got back to me quickly whenever I had a question, before or during the trip. It does take a good 15 minutes on a mostly gravel road to get to and from the main road, which I'm not sure I would do again. However, if you don't mind the drive, the cabin rewards you with stunning views and a very remote feel. The neighbor was installing a well (or maybe improving it) which led to some additional traffic and noise for us, but otherwise, it would have been almost completely quiet, something you don't get here in California. I also want to note that the bed in the master bedroom is extremely firm, and I know some folks would like that, but some would not. All in all, if you are looking for a remote stay in Montana in a nice cabin, this is it!
