2 Bedroom House in Saanich East, Victoria
This charming 40's character house is wonderfully clean and bright and has been tastefully decorated. Located very centrally in Victoria, right on the bus route to downtown or Uvic. 10 min to either. 5 min walk to restaurants, grocery store, drug store and liquor store, as well minutes away from the off road Galloping Goose running or cycling trails, with over 100 km of off road delight. The property itself is on the corner of a main street but fronts onto a quiet dead end street and is quiet and restful inside. The yard was featured in Victoria's garden tour last year ( 2016) and is a gardener's small paradise. The character house is nicely decorated and features hard wood floors, coved ceilings, curved art deco walls, french doors and a working fireplace. The rooms are spacious, the bedrooms have a queen size bed in the master and the other bedroom has a double bed. The mattresses are wonderful! The house is equipped with thick towels, freshly made up beds, and the kitchen has almost everything you would need. The kitchen just had a makeover and features beautiful quartz countertop and new tiled backsplash, pictures to be posted once painting and tiles are complete.
the appliances are stainless and all quite new The kitchen has a small counter sitting area for three and there is a separate dining room off the kitchen and a deck off the dining room. Laundry is shared with the downstairs tenants. The laundry room is downstairs and is available for guests to use. Cable TV and Wifi is included in the rent and there is onsite parking available. The owner lives next door and is available if necessary but otherwise keeps to herself. Pets are welcome, but there is an additional fee and deposit. The fee is payable upon arriving and you can pay the owner directly in cash. 30 day or more rentals after sept/03/17
