Positive: The apartment is a really great option for anyone staying in this part of Tuscany, with it being 30 minutes from Pisa and about 45 minutes from Lucca. It has the benefit of having a fully-equipped kitchen for cooking, has a supermarket right next door for groceries, and is easy to locate off the main road, with a dedicated off-street parking space. The apartment was very comfortable for our two-night stay, with an especially comfortable bed and pillows, which you don't always get on your travels. Check-in and communicating with Valerio was also very convenient and fuss-free - he was always available to us and provided the best guidelines we have seen for a self check-in property. Thanks, Valerio!

Negative: The only things that we would change would be for all of the windows to have mosquito nets installed, as the bathroom and bedroom windows did not have them. Because we wanted to get fresh air into the bedroom before sleeping, we then had to suffer being bitten a lot at night, which was not the most pleasant thing. Also, the kitchen cupboard doors and drawers were a little bit difficult to open and close, but this was a minor thing and would only require a small repair. The towels could also perhaps use a refresh.

Summary: Comfortable stay, small adjustments would have made it 10/10
