Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The apartment was in an excellent location in a back street in the centre of the old city. It was peaceful. The shared roof terrace was brilliant and we had breakfast each morning and evening drinks up there. It was only accessible from the two apartments and felt very safe. There was a friendly well stocked convenience store within 100 metres. The air conditioning worked well. A well equipped kitchen.
Negative: Like many streets in Valletta, West Street is very steep. Take care with luggage.
Summary: A wonderful 40th wedding anniversary trip in a perfect apartment.
