This terraced cottage, built in 1780, originally formed part of a ropery and boasts private parking for two cars, a sociable kitchen hub, living area, three comfortable bedrooms and a courtyard garden, which is perfect for relaxing in after a day at the beach, which is just a short walk away. The ground floor of this property has undergone extensive refurbishment in 2021 and benefits from a new kitchen and bathroom.

Whitby is a fishing town that is home to many amazing events throughout the year, including the bi-annual Goth Weekender, an annual folk festival, Christmas Festival and the Whitby Regatta. Alongside this, Whitby attracts visitors from all over who love to sample the many bars, restaurants, cafés and tea rooms, as well as museums and galleries. Take a walk up the 199 steps to the gothic abbey, made famous by Bram Stoker's novel 'Dracula', for a breathtaking view across the town, or jump on board one of the tourist boats that sail out for a different view of the town. You can even do a spot of whale watching at the right time of year.
