with canterbury so close to hand it is worth spending some time visiting the world-famous cathedral and exploring this beautiful vibrant city With great shopping, superb independent cafes and restaurants and museums such as The Roman Pavement and the Beaney House of Art and Knowledge, you may need more than one visit. Venture a little further afield to the coast and the traditional seaside towns of Hythe and Sandgate, offer independent shops, antique shops, a miniature steam railway and a lovely esplanade for breathing in the salty sea air.
