Recently dismantled, cleaned and restored, the owner/architect-builder has incorporated all of today's modern amenities. A four person hot tub and a 4k laser projection 130" movie screen with Bose Surround Sound provide hours of entertainment either apres ski or post hiking.

located in the heart of the green mountains, we are 30 minutes from sugarbush & mad river glen, 15 minutes from middlebury college snow bowl and 45 minutes from killington/pico Granville is in one of the best areas for stargazing. It ranks a 2 on the Bortle Dark Sky scale (1 to 9, 1 being the best.) Great hiking is also just minutes away with the Long Trail and many other spurs nearby. Waterfalls and quaint Vermont towns are all within easy reach. fine dining in nearby rochester, warren and waitsfield make for an absolutely fantastic experience!

winter: 4wd car recommendation: it is recommended that you have a 4wd car or truck in the winter and good snow tires "All-season" tires are useless in the fresh snow, especially on the hills. The property manager and town are very good about plowing, but the hills can be tricky during snow storms and many people have had to get towed.
