Positive: Charming cabin in a remote area. Exactly what we were looking for. There was a bit of driving involved to get there, but we did not mind. Communication with the owners prior to the trip was very good, they made sure we found the cabin easily. The location is close enough for trips to the glacier lagoon, the Golden Circle, Selfoss, Vestmanneyjar island the black beach and Hella, where one can catch the highland busses for day trips into the mountainous areas. Still so much we missed to visit, so we might have to come back. Spacious rooms which are perfect for a family of 4 or 5, very comfortable beds, clean bathroom and kitchen with all necessary supplies. We could not ask for more. There even was an outdoor grill and a jacuzzi, but we did not get the chance to use it (we've been out quite a lot). And nothing beats early morning coffee on the terrace while enjoying the magnificent view and the birds singing <3
