Summary: The property was very nice and in a great location. However, there was one serious issue, and that is 2 of the 3 toilets on the property were not working properly. This was a MAJOR disappointed that such a basic necessity was neglected to be taken care of and not disclosed. The powder room toilet on the first floor did not work at all and a second toilet in one of the bedrooms had problems. When the owner was notified, he did nothing, rather than immediately send out a plumber. He was obviously aware of the issue in the powder room, as there were instructions on “how to flush the toilet.” No one should charge that much money for a rental and not provide bathrooms that are in good working order. There were also several large stains on one of the bedroom rugs that were so bad that I had to scrub the rug myself! Totally unacceptable. On a smaller note, all other properties I have rented in Brigantine have been stocked with essentials like toilet paper and bar soap, which this property did not have, but I have no problem supplying my own. However. I think it should be made clear to the tenants ahead of time. As I said, it was a huge disappointment because it is a very nice condo in a great area that just needs to be better attended to by the owner.
