Positive: A lovely barn, beautifully decorated. Very well laid out. Some lovely views. Comfortable beds.
Negative: The cleaning of the barn could be better, there was dust, cobwebs. The shower plug hole/filter had dirt and hairs in it. Very unpleasant. Some mugs in the cupboard were stained. The tv needs updating, not easy to operate, very slow. WiFi is terrible. So sorry to have to do this, but the owners claim that it is a five star holiday home. We understand that the parents of the owners live next door. They were there with their dog when we arrived, they were not friendly at all, the dog had run into Blackberry Barn’s garden, as there is nothing to stop her from coming in. When we left, which was well before we were due to leave, there was a man who had come in to the Barn’s garden and had decided to do some strimming of the hedges leading to the property! It felt that we were being observed on arrival and then again on leaving. Not ideal.
Summary: An impressive property which needs a few simple steps to improve the experience.
