The house is between the Dordogne River valley (canoeing and castles) and the medieval pilgrimage village of Rocamadour (both 35 minutes away), and then the Gouffre de Padirac with its underground lake. The lovely hilltop market town of Gourdon (all shops) is ten miles away, and the villages (some shops) of Le Vigan and Payrac nearer by.
