Positive: The peace and quite was incredible - the grassy field and the water view were really lovely! No traffic sounds at all. I imagine warm weather (which we did not have) takes this place up 10 notches. Beautiful nature trails nearby. Easy access to restaurants. Loved Big Fish Grill. The people in the area are so friendly House was very clean. Two of the beds were very comfortable as was the big leather sectional sofa for watching TV Nice coffee and tea making appliances (thank you for providing coffee and filters) kitchen utensils were well accompanied. Ice maker in fridge.
Negative: There was an artificial air freshener smell upon entry that lingered throughout the stay. Windows in bedrooms do not open. It was more like a hotel stay than a home. TV was the only cold weather entertainment amenity. The board games were limited and missing parts. Few to no books in the house. No bikes available for use (as had been described) We generally missed having a cozy feature like a fireplace for a late fall stay. Will focus on prioritizing that for next time. No kitchen towel or sponge were provided. We had to use the plastic bags from the bathroom to dispose of kitchen trash as no bags were provided. No soaps or shampoo provided and well used soap dispensers toilet paper rolls were in place in both bathrooms. Meaning someone else had touched them.
Summary: Thanksgiving weekend stay near the water with access to nature trails. Mission accomplished. A very nice stay overall.
