nestled in the cornish countryside and yet just a mile from the beach, roosters rest is a perfect hideaway for two guests As well as the comfortable modern accommodation offered by the barn conversion, guests can enjoy the 3 acres of small holding surrounding the cottage (where the owners grow their own organic veg), the open field and pond complete with stunning cayuga ducks. A mile down the road is the village of Downderry with its popular pub overlooking the sea, large beach and restaurant. There is also a nice walk along the river on the Otter Trail through the Seaton Valley Park to The Copley Arms at Hessenford.
the accommodation is arranged over three floors, the top floor being a large double bedroom with with king size bed and air conditioning The middle floor is the lounge area with juliet balcony from where there is a stunning view across the land and valley opposite, there is also a shower room at this level with shower and wc. Finally on the ground floor is a modern kitchen diner and an additional bathroom. Newly converted the furnishings are modern and comfortable throughout and there is a lovely sense of peace and calm.
