Summary: Just stayed here for 4 nights. Property was as pictured and very tastefully decorated. Garden area had lovely flowers and was peaceful. Bed was comfortable. A word of caution; there is no A/C. You will find this detail in the listing under “Laundry.” Also, under “amenities” it lists a fireplace/stove for heat and makes no mention of how it cools. Upon opening the door I saw an oscillating fan turned on and knew we were screwed. Yep, no thermostat on the wall! There was a helpful note taped on the window that stated “the NM sky is your cool air.” Went on to instruct the windows be open at night and closed during the day to “trap” the air. It was a hot week. The host provided a second box fan to help us out. But, this 54 yo old gal does not sleep well in the heat and it was hot! Not only that allergies were awful w the windows open. To add insult to injury dogs accross the street bark all time. Today they started at 5:40AM. Clear as a bell w the windows open to get my natural A/C. Minor gripe, 2 rolls of TP for 2 adults and 4 nights. We bought some and donated it. Also, while there are 360 views they are NOT from the courtyard. There are houses on 2 sides and walls and a fence and bushes. Nice place, location, pretty too. But, accidental omission in listing at best or misleading/lacking info. at worst. I see the listing is still not corrected so who knows… Lesson learned, I will verify this going forward. Rented in Taos before and always had A/C.
