inspired by the elegant simplicity of scandinavian summer houses, and named after an attempt by the owner’s family to trek to everest basecamp, this exciting modern build was completed in 2018 Approached by way of a 800-foot gravel driveway that meanders through the woods, Basecamp’s striking black facade emerges in a clearing that opens to include a view of Overlook Mountain.
the interior is sleek and uncluttered; with a zen vibe that permeates the entire experience in the house and on the grounds Thanks to a dramatic glass wall of sliders that runs along the entire main living area, natural light floods the open concept space, presenting occupants with expansive vistas of the property, as well as of the 65-foot long heated swimming pool with stone terrace just outside the door. All the while Overlook is a presence that reflects changing light throughout the day.
