The Wildflower is a luxurious cabin almost three miles outside of Cooke City on Colter Pass. This location provides the perfect jumping off point for outdoor adventures in the Beartooths and Yellowstone National Park. The cabin sits at just over 8000 feet elevation so we're right up in some of the most beautiful alpine terrain in the lower 48. For skiers and snowmobilers this means lightning quick access to the Lulu Pass trails and a massive range of peaks to explore. We're also just a ten minute drive to the Yellowstone entrance so you can be in the Lamar Valley in the blink of an eye. This stretch of road is not maintained in the wintertime, so winter guests snowmobile in from Cooke City or from the Pilot Creek parking area in Wyoming. The road becomes a groomed snowmobile trail during this time so it's an easy ride in. Adventurous guests who don't have snowmobiles can rent them in Cooke City.

the cabin itself is a log home that has been extensively remodeled and updated with all the modern conveniences including wifi and smart tv's in the bedrooms and living spaces It's divided into two separate living areas with a King Suite on one end with its own kitchenette and separate entrance, and a queen room that is connected to, and above the living room and kitchen area. Downstairs is a rec room with bunk beds and another bedroom with two twin beds. For larger groups there is even a new sofa bed in the main living room and two roll-away beds that bring the total sleeping capacity up to 12. There are also three full bathrooms with showers and a large and well appointed kitchen for preparing meals. The expansive decks are perfect for storing gear or soaking in the hot tub after a long day in the wilderness.
